Our full length 2017 album Duende landed on Rolling Stone's top 50 Americana and
Country Albums of 2017 at #31 - "It's only natural that the Band of Heathens
– a tireless touring outfit – made one of the year's best driving records."
Touring the United States and Europe relentlessly to support the release last year,
we found ourselves at SiriusXM's satellite radio headquarters in New York City
in January of 2017 to perform songs from Duende live in the studio for a recorded
session on the Outlaw Country channel.
We also performed a cover of the classic Neil Young song "Alabama" and played a
version of the Dave Rawlings' (Dave Rawlings Machine/Gillian Welch) ballad "Ruby".
The SiriusXM studio crew multi-tracked the session and we decided to release a
5 song EP called Live Via Satellite (out TODAY out on our own label BOH Records).
It is available here in all digital formats and you can only get the CD directly from
